Sunday...

There she blows.....
Guess what I did today......

It is school holidays here so we decided to have a day outing going whale watching. The whales travel up (and later down) the east coast of Australia and there are a number of ways to see them. We went on a day trip from near where we live and were lucky enough to see them playing at close range.

This is a mother and her calf.

What a great day!!!

Oh how special! I love whale watching (I did mine in/off of Massachusetts.) When we were in Australia - it was too early to see them... :o( (But then again I did get to see roos, and koalas, and emus, and platypuses, and... you get the picture!)

Wow, those are good photos of a delightful event. I don't live near water, so I only get to see pictures.

I went whale watching seven years ago -- we saw the orca pod that lives near here. Spectacular. It's amazing to think of all that lives out of our sight. Glad your day was great!
