more sand...

I've only seen snow three times in my life ( once in Japan, once in Switzerland and once here on a short skiing holiday) so all the photos I see on blogs showing snow amazes me. On the other hand I have seen lots of sand - and here's some more.... This is from another day trip two days ago. This time we went south - to Northern New South Wales ( this is just a bit further south than the Gold Coast). This is one of my favourite places, Cabarita Beach.
The family had fun - you can see them walking along to the swimming section of the beach in the first photo. The second photo shows the beach looking north.
And here is something strange about me - I do not like to swim. The water is just never warm enough for me.

I may love snow, but I adore beach photos too. I'm not much of a swimmer either. I do like to listen to the waves, very calming and soothing.

I never get over seeing Aussie beaches - they are empty! These are gorgeous pictures. I like swimming in a pool, but when I go to the beach, the water is too cold! I like to walk along in the sand and play catch with the waves, though. They tell me the Carribean waters are warm.

Such a beautiful beach. I think it would be nice just to sit on the beach, just at high tide and get wet as the tide comes in. So long as nothing poisonous bites you! LOL

Oh, to be there with you! My DH and I would love to visit Australia one day but lack the funds to probably ever get there! Thanks for sharing the pix!

It is so strange to see beach photos, especially since we are in the wintertime here. With the power of the internet, we can be reminded that it is summer in other parts of the world. These are great photos, and beautiful beaches.
